Chequered plate buying questions
What is the weight of aluminium chequered plate?
Base weight is thickness (mm) x 2.71 kg/m², plus roughly 0.4 to 0.6 kg/m² for the raised pattern. A 3 mm five-bar sheet of 1220 x 2440 mm weighs about 25 kg. Use the site's aluminium weight calculator for other sizes.
Five-bar or diamond pattern?
Five-bar gives better slip resistance in both directions and is the common choice for platforms; diamond is often chosen for decorative and vehicle applications. Both are quoted on request.
Do you supply stainless steel or mild steel chequered plate?
Stainless steel chequered plate is available on enquiry; mild steel chequered plate can be sourced for project packages. State the material and grade in the enquiry.
Can you cut chequered plate to size in Dubai?
