Turn your BOQ into a clear supplier enquiry
A useful material enquiry separates technical requirements from purchasing quantities. This template helps contractors and procurement teams list aluminium jacketing, insulation and accessories on a comparable basis.

The CSV opens in spreadsheet software. Replace the guidance in each row with your approved specification; delete unused rows and add further items as needed. It is a procurement aid, not an engineering specification.
Fields that prevent avoidable clarification
- Metal: alloy or grade, temper, thickness and finish.
- Format: sheet length and width, coil width, roll length or weight.
- Backing: the required moisture-retarder material and thickness, recorded separately from metal thickness.
- Quantity: both the number of units and the purchasing unit, such as sheets, rolls, kilograms or square metres.
- Documents: project standards, required data sheets, material certificates and approval samples.
- Delivery: emirate, exact location, requested date and unloading or access constraints.
Baby-coil orders
For baby aluminium coils, state the required amount per coil, total amount, maximum handling weight and any core requirement. Smaller quantities can reduce unused surplus; cutting yield still depends on your finished piece sizes, laps and layout. Read our baby-coil versus full-coil comparison.
Complete the fixing package
Include stainless steel accessories, shaped fittings and sealing materials alongside the main metal order. Match grades and sizes to the approved assembly. Use the complete material checklist for a final review.
