Prepare one material enquiry for the insulation, facing, fixings and any external cladding specified for your ductwork. Start with the approved design and material schedule.
Send the approved duct insulation requirement
- Describe the ductwork location and application, including whether the insulation is internal or external.
- Provide the required insulation material, form, thickness, density and facing as stated in the project specification.
- Include duct dimensions or insulation area, with quantities and the requested delivery date.
- Identify required technical documents, approved brands and any project test-report requirements.
- State whether you need insulation pins, washers, adhesive, tapes, sealants or external metal jacketing in the offer.
Materials to include in the enquiry
The catalogue offers enquiry pages for glass wool insulation, rock wool insulation and elastomeric foam insulation. These are not interchangeable specifications. Match the requested product to the approved design and check the offered manufacturer's data.
Fixings and finishing details
For insulation pins and washers, send the fixing method, pin length, base details and quantities. For foil tapes and reinforced facings, include the required width, facing and compatibility requirements.
If the design calls for a metal jacket, specify its material, thickness, finish and backing separately. Use the industrial jacketing enquiry pages to assemble that part of the requirement.
Confirm before ordering
Ask for the offered specification, quantity, documentation, price unit, availability, lead time and delivery terms to be clearly identified in the quotation. Installation requirements and final suitability should follow the approved design and manufacturer instructions.
